Wood-Land-Lakes RC&D is one of ten Resource
Conservation and Development (RC&D) programs in Indiana. The Indiana RC&D’s have
been very successful and have provided many benefits to the citizens of Indiana.
The following list of accomplishments, compiled for 2007, reflects some of these

- 400 acres of surface mined land
treated to improved soil quality and reduce erosion
- 417 acres of farmland preserved
through conservation easement
- 600 acres of wildlife habitat
